Hawk Hill Farm is located in the lower end of the
Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. We are sheltered by the Blue Ridge
Mountains to the east and the Allegheny Mountains to the west. Our place
lies in the rolling farm land of the great valley
Hawk Hill Farm was established in 1988 when Ken & Leah
Coffman moved their family from Florida to Fincastle, Virginia. Numerous
adventures have ensued since that time and our family and our 'herd'
have grown. We now share our farm with our pound puppy (Tori),
cats; our own
horses (Peruvian Pasos and one Paso Fino) plus several family members
and friends' horses: a Peruvian, a Spotted Saddle Horse an Arabian; a
Quarter Horse and and one unique Mini.
My principal hobby involves working with gaited
horses for trail riding, mounted search and rescue and some showing
at the annual Northeast Peruvian Horse Show and our local horseman's
association show. Check out
the photo gallery for photos of some of our 'kids'.
